Martin Nguyen, pa-c

Martin Nguyen is an Arizona native and spent his early 20s in Tucson as a nursing assistant and EMT. He was humbled to work with the elderly in end-of-life treatment and with their vulnerable families in assisted living. After a trip to visit family in rural Vietnam, he noticed parallel healthcare deficiencies due to a limited number of healthcare providers in both Vietnam and the US. In turn, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Care, Health, & Society from the University of Arizona and is proud to have completed his PA training at NAU as a lumberjack. He believes that a smile is fundamental to patient care, is honored to work as a physician extender with Dr. Pham and Dr. Brubaker, and serve in primary care for the Vietnamese and Phoenix community.

On the weekend, you can find him watching YouTube automotive repair videos and with a youth group, nurturing Vietnamese adolescents to becoming confident, empathetic leaders of the next generation. He aspires to be a part of changing health insurance to improve care for those that cannot afford it.
